Description:
One intensely colored flower held erect on a 27-cm inflorescence; dorsal sepal round, light burgundy, striped dark maroon, apex acuminate; synsepal ovate, white, vertically striated burgundy; petals broadly elliptical, very dark burgundy, green basally, ciliate; pouch very dark burgundy; staminode hirsute, white overlaid burgundy; substance firm; texture glossy, pouch matte.
