Thirty-seven striking, well-shaped flowers and one bud on two inflorescences up to 64-cm; sepals and petals elliptic, dark maroon-black, lateral sepal margins white apically; lip dentate apically, darker maroon-black, matte distally; column maroon-black, anther cap maroon-black; substance firm; texture waxy
