Description:
One small flower and five buds on one 6.3-cm inflorescence on a newly discovered species as mention in article in Phytotaxa 560 (3); inflorescence is born from base of leaf and only one flower is open at a time; base color yellow with seven sanguineous red stripes; dorsal sepal broadly ovate, concave longitudinally; lateral sepals one-cm at base to form a longitudinally concave, bifid lamina; petals yellow, transversally, shortly spatulate, minutely papillose; lip yellow, free, oblong, concave, longitudinally sulcate, margins thickened, apiculate, column yellow, terete, erect; anther cap white; frequently confused with Lepanthes caprimulgus
