One dark vinicolor flower on a 20.5-cm inflorescence; dorsal sepal ovate, claret, overlaid near-black stripes, apex caudate; petals oblong, dark claret, margins prominently hirsute, apices attenuate; pouch dark maroon; staminodal-shield green, spotted claret centrally; substance medium; texture glossy.
